NRSM doctoral student Kowsar Mohamed was recently named to the University of Minnesota's Board of Regents. Kowsar is advised by Dr. Mae Davenport, and her research involves equitable innovative methods for natural resource management by centering Afro-Indigenous knowledge, cultural design, and technology.
