Several NRSM students gave oral or poster presentations at the virtual Society of American Foresters Convention. The Convention took place from Nov. 3-6 2021. The following students presented their research at the event:
- Tyler Gifford, MS Student: "Comprehensive review and evaluation of whole stand volume yield models for the aspen forest type in Minnesota"
- Ella Gray, PhD Candidate:"Landscape-level patterns of eastern spruce dwarf mistletoe infestations of lowland black spruce in Minnesota, USA"
- Gwen Keller, MS Student: "Effects of flooding on survival and performance of potential replacement species in black ash swamps"
- Amy Shaunette, MS Student: "Beetle vs. tamarack: Is regeneration present after eastern larch beetle infestation in tamarack stands?"
