Hailey Shanovich Awarded Dosdall Fellowship for Research on Arthropods and Hazelnuts

February 18, 2022

Doctoral student Hailey Shanovich has been awarded the Louise T. Dosdall Fellowship for the 2022-23 academic year. The Dosdall Fellowship was established to support female graduate students in any field of the natural or physical sciences who show exceptional promise for a successful career in research. Hailey's research (in advisor Brian Aukema's lab) involves management planning for novel crops to the eastern United States; specifically, hazelnuts and the ecology of insects and mites that damage hazel plants.

Congratulations, Hailey!
